New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. Race volunteers will receive a t-shirt courtesy of SunChips in appreciation of their efforts. I am the cure™
Emotional. Memorable. Motivational. I AM THE CURE™ is the new rallying cry of the Komen Race for the Cure. The program stresses the importance of positive breast health practices and encourages women to take charge of their health. The program speaks to the importance of early detection – the best defense against breast cancer – and provides simple, action-oriented messages that Race participants can take home and put into practice.
